Mental Health Professional
You have the power to take action to improve your mental health!
I have been a Psychiatrist for over 20 years, with experience in inpatient hospital care as well as private outpatient work.
My Psychiatric Residency was at Westchester Medical Center and enabled me to treat Anxiety disorders, Major Depression, Somatization disorders, Bipolar DO, ADHD, OCD, and Postpartum Depression via medication and therapy. I take some insurance and out-of-pocket pay.
In addition to my psychiatric training, I help people become aware of the root causes of their unhappiness, and feelings of unsatisfying unfulfilled aspects of their life. I am actively engaged in Psychoanalytic training with the Contemporary Freudian Society.

Thoughts
Thoughts are the mental processes through which we perceive, interpret, and make sense of the world around us. They encompass a wide range of cognitive activities, including beliefs, memories, perceptions, and reasoning. Thoughts can influence our emotions, behaviors, and decision-making, shaping our experiences and interactions with others. Understanding and managing our thoughts is key to promoting mental well-being and achieving personal growth.
Feelings
Feelings are the emotional responses that arise in reaction to our thoughts, experiences, and external stimuli. They encompass a spectrum of sensations, from happiness and love to sadness and fear. Feelings play a vital role in shaping our perceptions and behaviors, influencing how we interact with ourselves and others. Recognizing and expressing our feelings is essential for emotional health and interpersonal relationships, enabling us to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience and authenticity.
Behavior
Behavior refers to the actions, reactions, and conduct exhibited by individuals in various situations. It encompasses both conscious and unconscious actions, ranging from simple gestures to complex patterns of interaction. Behavior is influenced by internal factors such as thoughts and emotions, as well as external factors such as social norms and environmental cues. Understanding and modifying behavior is essential for personal growth and effective communication, as it directly impacts our relationships, achievements, and overall well-being.
